Hello everyone, it's been a long time! No really, I've been inactive for years! Crazy, huh?
Well, in that time, I've fallen out of the hobby, come back, redone a lot of my minis, stripped my old (And quite honestly, terrible) paint jobs, and have started over. Now, having finally gotten into a loose routine of actually getting decent paint jobs done on a consistent basis, I finally find myself with enough painted models to -actually- field a small, fully painted army. In my 10+ years of being in this hobby, this is the first time I can finally say this. So, to celebrate this occasion, I've decided to finally post pics of my models.
Unfortunately, I don't have a very good camera. Right now, I'm stuck with the one on my blackberry, but with decent lighting I was able to get some passable pics. Hopefully I'll be able to take better ones in the near future, but we'll see.
Here's the entire force at the moment, every fully painted model in my army at the time of this post, except for 5 cultists. Unfortunately, they got left at a friend's place, hence the unit of only 8.
My Helbrute (1 of 5. Yes, I have a Murderpack

), is actually one of my favorite models at the moment. He turned out far better than he had any right to be, but that's mostly attributed to washes and technicals. Sadly, my camera can't do him justice, but overall he's the best painted mini I have, by far.
Seraphos himself, one of my best conversions, is my primary Sorcerer Lord. He was built with terminator legs, a standard Space Marine torso, Chaos Knight arms, gargoyle heads, various other bits, and greenstuff. Sadly, I don't think the paintjob I gave him is all that great, compared to my more recent work, but he's still one of my favorite minis.
My secondary Sorcerer is another favorite of mine. He was made with regular space marine bits, a Chaos Knight arm, and Chaos Warrior legs and helmet. I rather like how he turned out, though he tends to break off his base. Unfortunately, he's taught me that using plaster-mold rocks on the base can be bad, as they're very brittle and will break apart easily when dropped.
Having found the standard Chaos Vindicator to not be 'Chaos' enough, I put one of the Ectoplasma Cannons from the Forge Fiend kit where the cannon goes, and I run it as Daemon Possessed. I found the bit fits right in, and works really well.
And here's my Rhino/Predator. Funny story here. I got a lot of my minis from a friend who stopped playing Blood Angels, and converted the loyalist models to chaos. Among them was a Razorback, but chaos doesn't get those. So, I had a Rhino with a sun-roof, essentially. After some thinking, I decided to get myself the turret of a Predator, so I could run it as such if I so desired, and the end result works very well. The turret tends to slide around a little, but I'm sure some magnetizing could fix that just fine. Sponsons are another story, but I have the option to take a 75pt tank if I want, now.

So that's what I've got so far. I still have a lot to go, including the rest of my 40+ cultists, my terminators, possessed, chosen, havocs, and the other 4 Helbrutes. But for now, just being able to field a fully painted army feels amazing. After over 10 years, it's about time. Lemme know what you think, and I apologize again for the low-quality pics. It's all I can do right now.
