looks good, what are your plans for the farseer? He wont be THAT useful, in this circumstance it may be beneficial to go with the autarch with similar setup? Really could go either way though, but I wouldnt expect to get much stuff cast unless you plan on rolling all your dice on one spell each time.

Quite similar to my list, but i did a little less WS spam and went with the seer council.

Looks powerful. I don't know what people do with all the dire avengers, drop them off at objectives and hope they don't die too quick? You don't ahve any anti air, you could drop a direavenger unit and their transport for a crimson hunter or a warwalker squadron with flakk missiles. 2 warwalkers with flakk missile launchers are pretty flexible. Although the rest of your list would probably leave them in the dust so vypers might make more sense. Can't give vypers flakk though.

Also have reasonable expectations with your farseer. If you give him prescience and guide you will probably get at least one of them off. I don't know if you are planning to have him support the wraithknights or the spyders but I think if you could get prescience on one unit of spyders and guide on the other you could have fun and annihilate many things.

his anti air is the d6+1 twin linked shots at str 7 mounted on 5 platforms. The dire avengers stay inside the tank until it is blown up or there is a close by unit that requires additional fire power. half to 3/4 the way through the game ive usually got my DA's out and helping force more shots onto stuff and or picking up mid field/back field objectives.

the serpent shield is only twinlinked if the scatter laser hits, which has a reasonable chance but I never rely on rolling 6s on 4 dice, even with re-rolls. With 4 serpents you are definitely likely to get some twin linked serpent shield shots, but you'll have to focus your fire from all 4 wave serpents to bring it down reliably. That's assuming all 4 serpents are still alive when the flyer comes on. But really I'm pretty new so take buddy's advise over mine

I agree with Rx8. Waveserpents arnt terrible anti air but it could take almost all 4 serpents to take out a flyer which means you wont be shooting at ground targets that turn. With armies like the new SW bringing lists like Airwolf, nids and their flying TMC, Necron Scythes etc which all have the potential to take out a wave serpent the turn they come in (especially since you have no interceptor) i think relying on serpents for AA is a flawed strategy

It can be hit or miss with the anti air. A lot will depend on what your opponent brings and what his real threats are. You will need to prioritize your targeting and determine if it is worthwhile to fire at fliers.

Now, there can be two difficulties using Spiders and Wave Serpents as your anti air: Stormravens and multiple Tyranid fliers. Those two particular builds with multiples in each have given me issues trying to drop when I had no dedicated anti air.

However, it can be challenging as to what to bring for your own anti air. The Crimson Hunter is a glass cannon. For 150 points, it may be worth looking at 2 Quad Linked Icarus Lascannons Vengeance Batteries from the Stronghold Assault book. They don't have the issue of firing at the closest unit but do have BS2, but 4 twin linked lascannon shots with Skyfire has worked for me in the past.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Super standard dual Wraithknight Serpent Spam. It's a very powerful list that can play any mission well.

It will beat many less optimized list into a bloody pulp quickly. Make sure your opponents know what they are up against.

There is enough out there that can ignore cover to threaten the mantle seer, so keep him out of LOS.
