Alright, so I am going to be part of my first Masters tournament this coming Saturday. I have a couple casters I have experienced with, but it is a three list format. Here is my three lists I made up for it (I have a lot of experience with one, kind of with the other list, and the other one I made up with prior experience).

My first list with pSeverius. This is the main list and caster I had the most practice with recently With this list, it is a jamming list that clears out and unjams.

1st list - very nice, though I don't think I'd take Rhoven here. He doesn't really offer much to the list, while he's probably a must for your pKreoss list (in case of stealth casters). If you're mainlining this list, I can see the temptation to fit all your tech in here, but I'd find something else for the points I'd think.

2nd - nice once again, though I think swapping out the second Vanquisher for Rhoven and 4 points of something would be good. You could also swap out the Senechal and min the choir to fit in up to 7 points of stuff.

3rd - great list once again, though Rutgar Shaw seems an odd choice. I think you can do better for 8 points there really, but I'd be interested to hear what your plan for him.

You do make a point. In my list he worked as draining fury on warbeast and did not know if Vilmon and another Paladin would be a good choice for the last five points.

7 points might help me add eEyriss and two other solos for the assassination list (Tayrn might be a good add but not sure for the last two points).

For Rutger Shaw and the Nomad in my eFeora list, I was using him and that jack as a flanking tactic. Although I am interested to hear what is better for the eight points.

Ok, for the second list, perhaps take out the Vanq and min the choir, then add Taryn, Rhoven and Eyriss - a whole lot of tech to make your pop and drop really shine.


List 3, I can see what you mean about a flanking force, but I just don't think Rutgar w/nomad is the man for the job here. He's pretty squishy himself, and if he dies, your jack isn't doing much. Heck, even alive, his jack only can charge with 2 attacks - not particularly threatening for an 8 point module. Jack Marshals really need something to make them worth it, and sadly Rutgar doesn't bring more than a reroll to the Nomad. Meanwhile, for 8 points you could have a full unit of TFG, or a unit of Bastions, or Vilmon and a couple of paladin and a Mechanic, Or for an point extra you could have Rorsh and Brine who are far more capable as a flanking force (seriously, transfers keep Rorsh safe, and brine is quite scary with Ignite up after a distraction move). There's a fair few options there
