Hello all

Thought I would share my $3 + some spare junk count as Morkanaught I am throwing together.
I grabbed the new ork codex and wanted to use one of these, but as many agree, the model prices are getting up there these days.
So, I took to the local dollar store and grabbed some action figures to dismantle and thought I would share.

I only play with friends and we don't play competitively, everyone is fine with me using this in our games. Sadly his first time on the board he was killed before getting to do anything, but I have hopes lol.

How far off is it from being ready to paint? Would love to see how it looks under coated

'Counts as' morkanaut? We're talking orks here, that's just a morkanaut to me! I'd be perfectly fine with this even in competetive games (as long as the dimensions match roughly, of course).

I need to get some rivets made on the thing and then I will prime. Going for Bad Moonz for my Ork army so going to prime yellow (like the killa kan in the picture)

Dimension wise, it's about as tall as a riptide and on a large oval base. I haven't seen an actual gork/morkanaught assembled in person so I was guesstimating off of pictures where other models were present for size comparison.

Orks are probably the best converters army because if you have a pile of random parts you can point your inner mekboy at it and turn it into a war machine of deff an' destrukkshun!

Shortly after priming my scratch-built Morkanaught, I took a break from 40k but just started back up recently.

It's primed, but not painted - took some damage in transport so I have to do some repairs.
