Hello everyone, it is soon time for a tournament at my place on the planet and the point value is 1250 points. what i need help with is hints and tips on what could be good and what could be bad.
so this is what i was thinking so far:

This should add up to 1250 points but what i need help with is if my list is going to put up a fight or not. will face mostly wood elves and beastmen. Thanks for all the help guys!

You seem to be dangerously overpaying on your core tax, Warriors have a phenomenal set of specials and rares and you've spent a massive chuck of points on core

I am the first personal to rave about trolls w/throgg, I'll always run them when I can, however at low points your warriors will wreck face!

I would grab festus and stick him in 17 warriors of Nurgle with halberds, full command w/ leadership banner, he makes the unit a tank

Keep the crushers but you don't want the Champion challenging himself to death! Keep the musician and banner. I'd probally stick the + Movement banner on them and unless it's the flaming banner, almost always use Ensorcelled Weapons!

Keep the naked dogs, perfect choice

NOW you have 400 odd points left to compliment the army you have, the rest is just my personal preference:

Double Gorebeast chariot w/ mark of Nurgle + 5 slaanesh horsemen with throwing Axes, Flails, light armour and musician

superman makes some very good points.

Personally i would drop the warriors in favour of a chimera.

Chimeras are good but they really only work in a flying squadron, unless he's babysat by a flying general, any smart player would exploit his low leader by killing a unit nearby or forcing panic and then 275pt monster runs never to return. Plus I try to enforce the rule of go double or go home so 2 or none with chimeras

Gorebeasts are ftw, but 5 knights MoN with Ensorcelled Weapons will wreck face at small points, proving you use then correctly

Oh i see haha sorry! I will definetly go with the block of warriors and Festus, they could really take a punch and deliver good damage in return! Should i throw away the trolls all together and go with something else? A Gorebeast would be nice to for some flanking, but should i take one or two if i go with the Skullcrushers?

Trolls are fun don't get me wrong but it would be fun to take them, I think once you have the nurgle warriors block, dogs and skullcrushers, whatever else you want to add is personal preference

Gorebeasts are fantastic at low points games because of their high tougheness and wounds, move the warriors in the centre with a Gorebeast either side, if the enemy charges you they won't break your nurgle block, then they face a double Gorebeast counter charge, if they don't charge...brother you charge them!!

Skullcrushers and knights are your speedy shock troops! Nurgle knights are disgustingly good and I never leave home without crushers, but honestly the last 400 points after crushers, nurgle warriors, festus and dogs add whatever you want...

What units do you like the look of?

I am now thinking something like you said, Nurgle warriors, crushers, Festus and doggies. will probably go with a gorebeast. I do like dragon ogres, thinking 3 of them with greatweapons?

Dragon ogres are quick, but they're a bit hit n miss, honestly try them to see if you like them but I think they're are better choices out there than Dogres, like regular ogres or trolls or chariots or knights.

These are all personal though, try what you want to try and you'll fall in love with units you want to use
