I've recently been sent my model of Grukk Face-Rippa, and noticed MANY similarities... So does anyone know if black reach is ever a part of Grukk's Waaagh!? Or perhaps if he survives the campaign and resurfaces in time to be killed by Sicarus as the ultramarine's 2nd company?

My grounds are as follows:
-both models tower over the other warboss models and are easily one of the largest character models "height-wise"
-the power klaws are extremely similar (besides the saw-blade) even the wire and battery at the hip are shared by both.
-the boots are identical on both.
-they both have a double holster with two sluggas (both sharing a hole at the bottom of one).
-the guns they are holding are identical except for the stock and the underslung Rokkits/barrel.
-the arms holding the guns are identical (two fangs on a string coiled down their arms) and bandages/cloth tied around their wrists.
-both power klaw arms are identical, with the forked vein on the upper arm, and the power klaw surgically attached point bing the same.
-both have a lock of hair dangling from their bosspoles.

I have pictures of the aforementioned if anyone is interested in visualising the similarities.

I imagine it's more of a case of GW reusing parts of an old sculpt to make Grukk, hence the similarities. But hey, it's a cool idea, so why not stick with it? Adds a bit of character to your warboss.

Yeah I suppose, but considering I intend to cut grukk in half to mount on a warbike, and I'll be using both in the same battle. perhaps a random warp storm sends grukk to fight with his future self and the freak storm causes him to vomit teef for three days thus he can afford the blitzbike.

Gruck's fluff actually contradicts this assumption. But whatever - they're your models after all! You can shift the fluff a bit and noone's gona feel bad bout it. Just make sure that you don't go like: "Every Warboss in the galaxy wishes he was Grukk. Gruck's the warbosse's spiritual liege".

Yeah that's why I was asking, how does Grukk's fluff end? Like if he dies it's pretty much closed, so how does his Waaagh! end?

Iirc it's in progress. Though, i haven't read through the Red WAaagh yet. So, it's in progress from the ork main dex pov.

So as the story stands, black reach warboss is dead and Sanctus reach warboss is currently alive and kicking?

Yeah, in confomation, i just finished reading the assault on black reach novel: The warboss featured there is by the name of Warboss Zanzag, so just asiv coincidence that they happen to have more similatiries than my twin sisters.
