In the Star Wars books that I read when I was a teenager, Corran Horn was always my favourite character, only equalled by his computer game equivalent, Kyle Katarn.

Now, while Kyle himself got his ship last year, I had been waiting with baited breath for Corran to make his appearance in his classic X-Wing. - So much so, that I repainted the stripes on my starter set ship, to match his Corsec colours.

Of course, purely just to mess with me, Corran was eventually released in nothing other than an E-Wing.

And so, I have returned to the painting table for the game.

I started off with a Caliban Green painting over the stripes, followed by a Nuln Oil wash over the model, to attempt to cover up my mistakes... On the right, you can see my repainted X-Wing.

I followed this with some Pallid Wych Flesh - Which seems perfect for repainting Rebel ships, by the way.

I then went over the Caliban Green with a lighter shade, specifically Kabelite Green to make the colours pop a little more. - I'm currently considering whether to try some Coelia Greenshade or Waywatch Green to blend the 2 together a little more, however.

In any case, I'm very pleased to give Corran his own ship and I'm currently trying him out with Etahn Abaht in a matching ship in games. - But more about that in other threads!

Nice. However, a note to work on the finish, and keeping it neat.
