You can have both however thats expensive as hell. You can only ever use one though, if you use the 'eadwompa you cant use the pk at i1

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

Well, they can and you will but you have to actually get the charge off. You're wounding on 2's so it might take a couple of round but if you play is smart it's more than doable (again assuming you get the charge in).

Headwompa is worth it though in this situation especially. If you're taking it then always always take an attack squig, you need all the hits you can get.

If you're running him on a bike (and you should since this is the only way he's not going to be insta-jibbed) then roll him with a unit of warbikes with a Nob and Painboy. That way you have the extra attacks that can actually damage him.

There are very few situations when a 'eadwhoppa is better than a pk. You basically trade reliability, brutal s10 ap2 and ability to take another good relic for a chance onf id-ing something and striking at ini4 rather than ini1. You still can't do much vs any decent mellee threat cause they either have 3++ and the odds of killing them with a lucky rend are somewhere around the odds of killing them with a pk over acouple of turns (if you have someone else to die in a challenge) or rock Eternal warrior.

The artifact is good but plain s10 ap2 pk is usually better.

HeadWhoppa's is only really good at hunting Carnifex, though it can pass for hunting some other MCs here and there. Mostly though, as has been said, a PK will just serve you way better. You don't want to be throwing your Warboss at things which are really threatening to him in combat anyway, so the PK is almost always a safe bet.

In my experience a PK with lukky stick wounds all five attacks most of the time. The 'eadwompa can't keep up with that if your opponent has a semi-decent invulnerable save.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
