Looking at air brushes and wondering what is a good starting point.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001TO578Q?cache=8b66aa51d6faa0328880e2064d83eaaa&pi=SY200_QL40&qid=1408676718&sr=8-2#ref=mp_s_a_1_2

Would this be a good beginning setup?

$100 is about my budget

Thanks

This kit comes up on here a few times a week.

Yes the kit is fine to start airbrushing with. The compressor is good. and will work even when you inevitably switch over to a Badger or Iwata airbrush.

The compressor does not have a tank so it will run continuously while airbrushing. It is not incredibly load but it is noticeable.

Other things you will need to buy.

Airbrush Cleaner
Airbrush Paint Thinner
An airbrush cleaning station (its a glass bowl with a holder on it for under $20).
Pipe Cleaners
N95 masks if you don't get an airbrush booth.
Painters tape and Silly putty for masking off areas.
Extra needles and O-Rings (you will bend the needle and you will lose O-Rings on the Masters brush).
If you are planning on shooting for extended periods you will want an inline water filter (above the built in one on the pressure regulator).
Airbrush Lube (for after the tear down cleanings)

Things I recommend.
Nitrile gloves to hold the models when you shoot the paint.
Gator Clamps for holding pins when you are shooting things like arms and heads on models that are not fully assembled
Plastic Medicine cups for mixing and thinning paints.

I'm sure I am forgetting a bunch of things but its late at night.

I will add, a good cheap toolbox/tacklebox to keep the airbrushing stuff in. I can not recommend an N95 mask enough, if you brush without one you develop a rather interesting cough if you plan on airbrushing for hours at a time (This happened to me, it may get hot as balls but never paint without a mask). The cough will go away with time but just don't risk it. You only get one pair of lungs.

Don't forget Harder & Steenbeck

Beside that, yes I think it will be a good startingpoint.
