So if i gave my Lord the Axe of Blind Fury he would have to have the Mark of Khorne, which auto gives him Rage.

However, the Codex states, that the Axe has BLINDED which means the bearer has -1WS and -1BS but has RAGE..

My question is, if you have to have the mark of khorne to take the axe then you already have rage, so why does the axes BLINDED rule also give you rage?

Because GW rarely play-tests their rules, and any quality control done on their codices is most-often done at the corner pub after the fourth round. At the earliest.

Or it could be that being a daemon of Khorne does not confer rage. So if you give it to a daemon prince, they can get rage.

MoK auto-includes Rage, no?

MoK does but DoK doesn't

Daemon Princes can't get MoK, only DoK, so they can't get rage in the 'normal' way

It evens out because a DPs attacks are all ap2 default anyway. That said both lose out on a bonus of the weapon and both are vicious with it. Mind you, the Black Mace is better in the DPs hands. Which lets your lord murder things at init level with an ap2 weapon (the Axe of Blindfury)

Just used the Axe for the first time yesterday.. Devastating.. i love it
