So with the current few releases we saw the orks and now space wolves. Bridging the two was a boxed set, 'Stormclaw', that gave us orks and SW's along with a few formations.

Normally Armies of the Imperium get all the extras and options but this release was not so directly.

Both got a codex, both received a supplement, however a campaign book came out which gave some formations to IG/Knights and Formations to Orks. Another campaign book is coming out that will give more formation to orks, and some formations to SWs.

In the end Armies of Imperium recieved just as many formations as the xenos Orks, but Orks received more than any other specific faction as the imperial ones were spread out among various imp factions.

It would be interesting to see if this trend continues with the next release of some Xenos vs. some imperial faction.

Anyone have any predictions or thoughts on this? One time thing, or a coming trend?

The last remaining codexes to be revamped are Dark Eldar, Necrons, and Blood Angels.

I would be down for a Blood Angels Vs. Necrons box like Storm Claw.

I don't consider day one DLC to be a form of love.

Necrons: 4000+ pts
Tyranids: 1000+ pts
Word Bearers: 1500+ pts
Emperor's Children: 1500+ pts
Minotaurs: 2000+ pts (killed by Primaris, thanks GW)
Custodes: 1000+ pts

SW don't need alot of formations, given they can use some of the SM ones too.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.
