Pretty simple question here mates, with the new book out and GK lists starting to pop up, I too will be at least running one squad of GK Terminators as my troops, as they are sooo much cheaper and still do all of the good things that Terminators do. That being said, how will you run them? Personally I prefer the Halberd for the S5, as although the Falchion gives you an extra attack, S5 can kill so much more in CC in my experience, however I have head that many GK players are considering them for there Terminators. That being said, which do you prefer and why?

On moon miranda.

I'd say it depends on how you want to run the army. S5 means you don't need to rely on Hammerhand as much and can toss more dice and ensuring Force goes off if that's something you need/want. Falchions may be more useful in a wider variety of circumstances however, and the difference between S6 and S7 with hammerhand in most cases is relatively small, though can be useful against many MC's and in vehicle combat.

I don't think I'd just stick with Swords either way though.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

I voted for the duel falchions. Although i believe that a mixture is best, the more attacks you can get out there is better. Id have to say it probably would depend more on the meta your playing.

I use the Halberds. Mainly because most of my Grey Knight Termies are metal and come stock with them. But I prefer the extra Strenght over the extra attack, higher chance to wound.

I voted halberds. Most of my termies are also metal so they came with a lot halberds. While the extra attack is nice, S7 w/ hammerhand will help in killing vehicles. With psycannons taking a nerf on PAGK I will rely more on my termies to kill vehicles as I'm going to be going with more incinerators on my PAGK.

I would go with halberds. I think of it as an insurance policy, as getting Hammerhand off is never a guarantee, so the base S5 from the halberds helps.
On the other hand, I am considering going with falchions on an interceptor squad.

Halberd due to 35+ of my terminators have them.

I make bad decisions and think they are good.

This.

I'd opt for halberds, too.
