I played an Apoc Game today. I took a Carnifex Crusher Brood consisting of 6 Carnifexes. It gets a special Hellstorm template shooting attack. I can choose any model for the end of the template.

Carnifexes being an MC can shoot 2 weapons a turn. Does shooting the Hellstorm template count as shooting 1 weapon? Does it count for the specific Carnifex that is the source of the template, or the entire brood of Carnifexes?
