I had been with WH40K since second edition boxset feature blood angel against goffs...
I haven't buy stand alone rulebook since, until now I am unsure about it ... I have 6th edition boxset include mini rulebook, dark vengeance.

I have three time dark vengeance miniature from boxset thank to many of person who don't want it.

Now... There are 7th edition already and I am with out of dated rulebook.

Should I buy hardback rulebook for very first time or just buy another boxset?

If you haven't wanted a hardback rulebook until now, you probably don't want this one either.

Go on eBay and get the mini rulebook for 7th edition. It'll be cheaper. There's cool fluff and art in the hardback 7th edition stuff, but you've probably seen most of it before.

Yeah I love background story..

Hardback book have three in one:- one for showcase, one background and finally a rulebook itself...

And true, I have see all before until there are full of something new.

If I am going take a boxset.. That mean I have 4x Chaos Space Marine Aspiring Champion/Choosen... That's 4 x 5+ men squad(!) more greenstuff work... Heh.

I need to see any benefit and pro/con between two choice - £50 or £65 boxset include mini rulebook. ( I'll check out a eBay after this answer.)

Good benefit to buy another boxset;-

If you already have the mini rule books then not much point. But if it is a choice between the digitial and the hardback get the hardback.

Just brought dv 7th edition box set. It was nice to have more miniature!

I didn't know there are new miniature- vrosh tattersoul the chao space marine aspiring champion. Look nice! And the mini rulebook are more heavy and more page than 6th edition and about same height as 2x 5th edition mini-rulebook!

What the hell have GW put in?! I will find out soon enough as I read whole page.

Thank guys to help out with made up my mind.

What you might want to do is see if you can grab a 6th edition hardback on the cheap via e-bay. If you’ve been living off of the small rulebooks, you won’t have a copy of all the background and fluff. It can be nice to have.

Not worth the price of the big rulebook IMHO, but if you can get an old rulebook for a song, it is worth the read.

Yeah good idea. But I guess I'll keep my eye peel in eBay for 7th edition rulebook anyone do not want or I just borrow off from my club. Hopefully they can lend me one!
