Is there any?
Given that the suit wold only be filled with a (probably degraded to dust) skeleton, and most likely sufficiently damaged to break any warding effects, I'm of the mind that a powerful daemon would be able to. Daemons such as Be'lakor, who are old, powerful, and damn good at space-magic.
The reason I ask is that I recently painted a GK terminator model, and I wanted a fluff reason for it to fight alongside my heretical AM army, against Ultramarines.

I suppose it's possible in the same way that ANYTHING is possible...But I don't think it'd really happen, especially in the numbers you'd need for a squad of GK termis. Keep in mind GK tend to recover bodies whenever possible, so the likelihood of armor being in a recoverable state AND remain somewhere long enough to rot are quite low.

The armours warding is very powerful, inlayed into very construction.
Take a lot of damage and if that much damage is it even worth collecting?

I'm thinking just stick it in an Unbound list, and then explain that the daemon is putting it back together and using it for the irony. Automatically Appended Next Post: Probably use the libby rules for it, too.

Sure. Given enough time, chaos can erode the wards and subvert them, getting into the matrix and adding lines to turn them into sigils and corrupt the whole thing. Sounds awesome.

Daemons? No. Some Chaos marine coming along and deciding to try to salvage it, that would work. Some Renegade Sorcerer who uses the suit's warding abilities to draw upon the warp stronger than before without burning out. A Word bearer carefully prising out the runic wards and replacing them with cursed hexes.
A Sorcerer of Malal who is rewarded by Malal for using a suit that is actively anethema to chaos.

Yes, I believe they could. In the GK omnibus, the Daemons keep the armour to them in close proximity, so it can't be too painful. I'm sure a super duper Daemon could do it! I would applaud you for your idea if I came across the army.

Imagine an Ork who looted a lost GK suit of armor and orkied it up (with the assistance of the friendly neighborhood mek) into some mega-armor. As hes stompin about with his flash new spacy armor, the whispers of a daemon trying to possess the user of the broken armor can he heard by the ork but the ork is too happy stompin and krumpin with his shiny new armor to care about the temptations of chaos. So now as the ork is out fightin and lootin he can talk to the funny voices.
