Assassins. Tournaments nerfing rerollable saves and invisibility. Enemies with potentially tonnes of deny dice. Everyone has been saying Seer Council is dead on 7th, but can it adapt to seventh as a build? Use as a summoning platform? What are people's thoughts? Is there a way to use the council in 7th differently?

Well, a Jetseer Council is usually too many points to serve as a mere summoning platform.
If Daemons can be summoned on the fly, that's fine. For this, I'd give this job to one of the Jetseers.
A Jetseer Council can still get its job done due to its speed and resilience.

I would say not.
The culexus in a drop pod by himself can kill half the squad.
Being only to cast one of the same power per unit really hurts.
Even more so by the new casting rules.

It can work, just not nearly as well as it used to. And its way to expensive to not

How do you kit yours out and what kind of opponents have you faced? Have you taken it to tournaments?

Seer council is still good, just not nearly as good as other stuff for the same points. With the assasins and amount of deny dice people can get, I would much rather take a plain old spirit seer and spend the rest of those points on wave serpents and wraithknights.
