Hello Dakkanauts! Samson here with another load of bull for you! This time I bring you my attempt at Mymeara Eldar, this army was built for a local gaming group's Escalation League, Starting at 500pts and now coming to an end at 1500pts. Here is my 1500pt force and some close ups of individual units! Sorry on some of the picture quality, I need to actually go buy a camera and stop using my phone.

Did you use an airbrush?
It's difficult to learn how to use it?

The paintings good but I've got to be honest I don't like the scheme, a more gradual blend from the two colours I think would help more but as it stands to me personally it looks like you've overs prayed a perfectly good blue colour with turquoise.

The Rangers are amazing really liking the camo on them and everything else is finished to an excellent standard can really see the effort that's gone into everything.

Jest, yes I used an airbrush for the fade technique, It was not all that hard to learn. Just need to make sure you get the right tools, I bought a decent airbrush and a nice compressor right away, so it became easier for me to learn because of having the right tools for the job.

Pastel, Thanks for the compliments, I think the fade looks much better in person. I always feel like the pictures take something away from it.

Are the rangers gun black on purpose?

Yes, I did 99% of the weapons for this army black. I think the only weapons that aren't black are the shurikens on the wave serpents, just because I wanted them to match the white bottoms.
