As I am starting the hobby again and going to slowly build up an army of Space Marines, buy it, paint it, buy something else instead of going mad and biting off more than I can chew as I have done in the past. I was wondering if anyone else has named squads, squad commanders or even individual marines? As I am in the process of reading the Horus Heresy series I like how the names make them an individual and that each marine could have a history. I want to start doing it for my own army as I build it. I am still unsure which chapter to collect as of yet but I want to create fluff for my army and make it more personal.

Would love to hear anyone's ideas/input on this so I can start doing it

Well I collected Dark Angels before and enjoyed playing as them but not sure if I want to play as them again, I'd like to try a different chapter.
