Hi everyone, we were pretty excited watching people play Dropzone Commander at the San Jose Bay Area Open convention. Really cool because with the smaller scale seemed pretty easy to have lots of units in a small space.

Got our local game store to order us up the 2 Player Starter Set -- and it just showed up. We're working on gluing and painting.

Wondering if there are very many people finding this fun to play ?? Or, maybe we were just lucky to run into a group on that weekend.

Haven't tackled painting. Can see that this is going to challenge our painting skills - painting such little tiny details.

Dropzone Commander is the game that got me back into Wargaming! I had been an avid GW fan for over a decade but my interest waned. A friend showed me DZC and I watched a few games and became hooked!

Don't worry about the tiny details too much. When you are standing back and moving them around on a battlefield you probably won't notice headlights or other details. Certainly have fun though!

Hawk Wargames does have some videos on Youtube you can watch for painting tips. I also watch a lot of battle reports to get ideas about tactics and how different mechanics work. They are not always accurate but usually informative and entertaining!

Recently picked it up and my wife and I are really enjoying it. Very well balanced and plays fast!

It's become my gaming buddy and I's new main game. I play Shaltari because I enjoy being a complete bastard.

Just picked up the two player starter. I'm stoked but I also want to get my paws on the new Post Human Republic box at the amazing price point they are going for.

I'll start a hobby pictures thread when I get around to it.

Make sure to pick up some magnets, 1/32 by 1/16 and 1/16 by 1/8 will work well for PHR. Just started on my Med Dropships.
