At my club we are currently doing a tale of gamers type escalation compaign, so we can all slowly build up forces and keeping them as pained as possible. This way we should hopefully get a new force which is fully painted in a few months. This is the first game from that escalation, starting at a low 600 point game. Its my renegade guard (codex imperial guard) vs the mechanicum (represented by codex inquisition and knights)

That list was all i had painted and the pairs were random for this game. I went on to play blood angels ( report coming soon) and militarum tempestus as well with the same list.

We are looking at something like 100 or so points a month, nothing much, but it keeps it building.

Great idea/way to build an army. I remember reading Tales when I used to get WD.

You did get a bit lucky with the Knight, but a good win regardless. Keep us updated with other batt-reps!
