So I don't know what the gak this thing is but I'm fairly certain it isn't a Citadel Miniature and the only thing the tag says is "CHHG 97". So anyone have any idea what this is and who it was produced by?

HHG (the c will be the (C) copyright symbol) were Heartbreaker Hobbys & Games.

I'm guessing this is a Warzone figure, but I'm not an expert on their ranges - sorry.

@ richred_uk - Well that gives me a start thanks, I knew Dakka wouldn't let me down.

@ fire4effekt - I don't think anything goes in the chest, there's a little vent thing buried inside but the pipes are sort of cut off so who can say?

So having had a look on t'internet I'm guessing something from the Dark Legion as I've seen the symbol on the tabard on a few other such miniatures.

Yep, it's Warzone. I'm not familiar with the figure itself, but I'm pretty sure it's from the "Dark Legion" faction. I checked here here:
http://shop.princeaugust.ie/dark-legion-armies/
where they still sell a ton of NOS Warzone stuff. and I found figures with a similar clawed hand, but not the same one.

97 indicates that it's "warzone" and not the earlier "mutant Chronicles" line, both of which were in the same setting.

It's Warzone, a converted Karak The Keeper. The claw-arm isn't the original.

Thanks for that! It was a struggle finding a picture of that model but I see what you mean about the arm. He's still pretty cool though and huge

EDIT: should have checked Google for pics, they have tonnes...
