So, not sure how many people played Costume Quest on the 360/PS3, but it was a fun little JRPG styled game where you went trick or treating, sometimes you got candy, others it was a monster ransacking the house that you had to battle. It's got Double Fine's signature humor, and is actually quite challenging later on.
Well, the sequel is coming out this October, where instead of fighting Monsters on the hunt for Candy, this time you're against the Dentist.
The game was quite fun, and definitely worth playing on Halloween, but..... it was kinda short. I legitly got 200/200 Achievements in my first play-through, and was able to play through the entire thing in one day (Though that can be said about many $60 releases). I dunno, $15 just seems kinda steep for what the first one was. Maybe the sequel is longer, I dunno.
I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.
I kind of liked the first for how short it was. I don't always have the time to put into the big epic length games anymore, and playing a short, well made and fun game like the first Costume Quest is just what I want some days.
