I made a warhammer 40k daemon army and now I have all these extra square bases and I don't know what to do with them. Any ideas?

You could make them into ankle breaking walkways by lining them up on a sheet of plasticard.

I had the same "problem". I made them into markers by making a spreadsheet with cells the exact size of the top of the bases, printed and cut them out. They have pictures of skulls, numbers, and vehicle damage results on them. Now they are very handy!

How much do they usually go for price wise

Not much. To give you an idea of price, I when I have buy base sI usually get them these guys: http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/MINIAATURES_BASES.html

Since there's not a ton of value in used bases, I keep a big supply of bases around for figures that I buy used that don't have bases and to give or trade to my club members who need them.

If you absolutely have to get rid of them, make bags of 30 or so and put them up in the swap shop. Someone will buy them. I'm in the process of building a KOW army of various minis and will pay a bit over half of em4 prices plus shipping depending on what you've got. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

You can also turn them into battlefield debris to be run from the stronghold assault book. A little bit of creative bitz rummaging will net you an ammo dump, comms relay etc. Useful little stuff to get you need bonuses in a game! And personally I love fluffy objective markers. It makes the game a teeny bit more aesthetically pleasing to have armies fight over something cool looking
