I already own the kaplans, and I have other models that would sub in well as hafza and janissaries which I wouldn't mind painting in a matching scheme. I was just thinking of something like this as it would allow the hafza to link with either the kaplans or janissaries depending on the situation. I've also got 3 ghulam, and icestorm so 3 auglaciles and a mobile brigada too.

Looking to hammer something out so I can temporarily "finish" the faction and give my budding Shasvastii force something to do.

I would say that dropping a Kaplan and replacing him with an Al'Hawwa would give you better flexibility
a Djanbazan would be great as well, but it doesn't fit very well with the points (And I suppose you're looking at a Janissary-Hafza link?)

Yeah, I figured the Hafza could go with either the Janissary or Kaplans. I mean boosting the already formidable talents of HI is probably better all the time, but as kind of a fall-back plan or a way to throw off my opponent. Dirty Hafza tricks. I could drop a Kaplan and still do that though. What kind of Al'Hawwa?

Basically I've got something that could stand in as heavy infantry for the time being, they could probably also sub in as Azra'il if that made any more sense.
