We seem to be in a situation where GW is often releasing the new codex in the middle of the 'window' for a new release so we get

some minis
codex
some more minis

but the current MOD policy seems to be to close the news thread as soon as the codex is out in the wild leaving us with no sensible place to discus the remaining minis (some may have been spoilered by then, but not all, and often with rubbish tiny photos)

might it be worthwhile leaving these threads open a week or so longer to have somewhere to discuss the whole release ?

or do the MODS feel the inevitable rules discussion that would happen but should be in the 40K forums would be too hard to police without annoying to many people?
