Hi all

Not sure where to post this, so thought here would do. I have a general question...

What ways are there for an Astra Militarum army (specifically an Elysian army) to modify their own reserve rolls?

At the moment I know of the Officer of the Fleet (which has to be on the board to be effective) and the Comms Relay taken with an ADL (which has to be 'manned' to be effective).

I am hoping to run a complete reserve/combat dropping army, but obviously need help ensuring everything else comes in on turn 2.

My question is does anyone know of any other ways of doing this (either GW codex or Forgeworld Imperial Armour), other than the 2 common ones I have mentioned?

Thanks

I believe there is a Warlord trait.

If I sound like I'm being a condescending butthole, I'm not. Read my reply as neutrally as possible, please and thank you.

Unfortunately my warlord trait is predetermined for my warlord choice (Solomon Lok), he gets feel no pain within 3 inches of an objective

Alas tigerius only allows rerolls on the same detachment, so cant use it on Elysian allies

One trick you can use is taking enough sentry guns and drop Sentinels that your 50% number for combat drop includes all of your Valkyries. That doesn't help with the Vendettas and Vultures, but at least it ensures that you don't need to roll on turn 2 or later for any of the core of your army.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
