I've wanted to space rats for years now and I have finally come to the conclusion that I would have to do it myself. So using chaos space marines and putting rat heads on them and replacing some of the weapons adding regalia and some green stuff. so I thought I'd post my list up. please eel free to comment to help me make this better.

I did "Space Skaven" in the form of the Lost and the Damned. i.e. Chaos cultist horde. CSM Skaven is crazy and I hope you get a name for your army, like Astral Vermin or such.

Overall, you lack weapon upgrades. Since you aren't taking specific Artefacts, I would take Crimson Slaughter (CS) so that your Possessed are better.

If your Chaos Lord isn't made to be intimidating, he's going to give easy VPs.

Take Meltaguns or Plasma guns on your Plague squads. They don't have transports and will suffer casualties faster.

Give GoM if you have excess points.

Is anything specifically in your Land Raider? If you use CS Supplement, your Possessed has a chance to move 12" as Beasts and don't necessarily need a transport so you can run them behind the Land Raider with Plague Marines.

Pro tip, forum rules say you've gotta take the price tags off all the upgrades you've got listed.

Possession on a Land Raider seems iffy. Considering a possessed vehicle will EAT its occupants, and you usually want to put nice expensive models in the Land Raider... I'd swap out for a Dirge Caster and leave it at that.

And if your Plague Marines are mostly footslogging, I'd definitely consider losing a few models to make space for a Rhino or three.

i've only got this picture so far but will be posting more soon in painting hopefully of higher quality only got one squad so far plus was thinking of taking typhus and some plague zombies.

I think you can take multiple cad to get more single oblitz if lord MoN can keep unlocking them as troops for the cad 2

Use this tried and true grit list. Its not original and boring but

But essentially swapped lord for typhus;
Dropped mutation (which is a shame because I wanted to make some rat ogre chaos spawn);
Took out small squad (other army are DA DW so i really want to go more hoardy with big quads I love big squads hence skaven)
Put in special weapons
Put in maulerfiend (rat ogres+ some armour)
Put in a Defiler ( wanna smash together a hellpit abomination and a defiler hellpit defiler yaayyyy!!!!)
Put in 20 plague zombies as a massive hoard (thinking of using clan rats with some cultist bits)

this is all a completely open list i only have one squad of plauge marines done so far

I wouldn't be heartbroken over dropping Gift of Mutation. If I recall correctly, when you take it as an upgrade (rather than earning it from combat), you don't get Chaos Spawn or Daemonhood anyways.

Take five Chaos Spawn with Nurgle using your Rat Ogres.
