How come wraithlords don't have the option for d-weapons? Both the wraithguard and the wraithknight get wraithcannons. I think it would make sense if the wraithlord could switch his flamers/shuriken catapults for d-sycthes or wraithcannons. Obviously for a hefty point cost but they should have the option no?

Wraithseers can get a distort weapon, and are very similar, but it does seem odd that Wraithlords can't.

Wraithlords are probably the most utilitarian unit in the Eldar Codex, they do almost every role well so I think it's either a case of remove that utilitarian ability (and change them fundamentally) or just leave them to it it's probably a legacy issue but for the record Wraithblades cannot get D weapons (or a "D sword") and as was already mentioned there is a Wraithseer.

Because Wraithlords predate all this D-scythe silliness.

Because they would have to make a new Wraithlord kit, and we need to keep the static one for some reason. :/

And because, after Chapterhouse, GW decided that rules for anything not explicitly built into their kit is bad for the game. Because, to them, the game is buying the minatures. Not assembling, kitbashing, or greenstuffing. Or even the tabletop.

Which is too bad. Kitbashing is one of my favorite parts of the hobby. I really wish they'd just add a ton of options we could use, even if they're not competative. Because, sometimes, you just really want a lasblaster.
