I haven't had a chance to play them with the new rules but I'm going to try this on Saturday...
5 Purifiers with 1 hammer, 1 halberd, 2 psycannons in a Rhino w/ Dozerblades.
Why? Because those are the models I have XD. In the future I want to put them in Stormravens with Incinerators or a Drop Pod from an allied detachment. I'm hoping other Space Marine codexes get printed with lone Drop Pods for purchase.

In the new codex, i am settling for 30 of them.
4 x Halberds, 4 x Cannons, Sword and Daemon Hammer. Cannons split off with Swordy McSworderson to blast people while I rev the engines and force myself down the enemy gullet with the rest.

Allied Space wolves drop pods. 2 10 man squads land turn one, combat squaded. Back up with inquisitors with servo skulls and spam 18 points henchmen squads with psykets for extra warp charges. Let go with 4x Cleansing Fire. No special weapons - the novas' devestation won't leave much for an incinerator, and I'm not too keen on the salvo PC. The power weapons also means they can take on 3+ saves better.
Haven't played it yet, but I feel this will be incredibly fun to use.

Recently had fantastic results with Cleansing Flame, thought I'd share with others as it was my first time using it but it was incredibly effective.
Was 1000 point battle. The Relic was the mission. He was DA I was GK, I can only roughly guess his list but know mine:
--
DA
10x tactical with plasma pistol, plasma gun
10x tactical with plasma pistol, plasma gun
6x veterans with special weapons
3x bike squad
5x terminators
1x vengeance land speeder
1x HQ choice
--
GK
1x librarian ml3 w/ book (rolled sanctic)
5x term w/ 2x dh, 1x psycannon, 3x falchion
draigo
5x purifier w/ 2x incinerator
1x dreadknight /w tp, gatling psilencer, heavy psycannon
--
He had termies and land speeder in reserve, I had termies and dreadknight in reserve. He goes first doesn't bring in reserve, everything out of range. My turn. Yes I got super lucky with my die rolls. Termies and dreadknight both come in and hit no scatter right in front of his troops. My psychic. I get cleansing flame off with librarian hitting 3 squads. Gate of uniformity Draigo and squad of purifiers successfully hit again no scatter then cleansing flame number two hitting 3 squads again. Shooting phase light everything up that he's got with everything I've got. My turn 1 ends he only has 1 veteran, and about 8 tactical marines left. CLEANSING FLAME and 5pt incinerators with gate of infinity, or deep strike.

I wish they would have given Purifiers DS and this wouldn't be a problem but then the Purifiers probably would be spammed like they are going out of style if that happened.
It is awesome seeing all the interesting ways people are coming up with to deliver Purifiers with the rest of the army but I just don't like the need to take SW to drop them in a pod on Turn 1 when I have Imperial Fist allies.
That Cleansing Flame is so good though! I feel like that a Librarian with ML3 and the book would be able to get it pretty consistently in order to not have to take Draigo and Purifiers or find a way to cram them into a Drop Pod.

Jancoran if you run the strike force formation you can take 40.

finally got my codex. yup. Thats cool. Do i WANT to now that the price went up and mobility went down though? Hmm... I wont change things a whole lot Im thinking, but having a couple objective secured options seems sound wisdom to me. So I might go to 30 and call it a day... not sure.

And how many troops choices are going to bring, if you are planning on taking the Minimum [ Most likely One], Objective Secure is Worthless.

course a purifier heavy list makes the replacement for OS not all that great. if you where just wanting to run purifiers I'd almost suggest just seeing if your oppisite numebr was cool with your using the brothers of the flame formation from Apoclypse. which is only 800 points before upgrades.

And that troop won't have Objective Secured. Objective Secured is a command benefit for the CAD. The Grey Knight formation does not have that command benefit so there is really no reason to have more than 1 Troop unless you just want Terminators.

The Grey Knight Nemesis Strike force does have Command Benefit, the same as most of them so far, you get to re-roll your Warlord Trait.
Most of the GKNSF list I have been seeing are being built to take advantage of the First Turn Deep Strike.
For me and my restructure, after cannibalizing my Strike Squad to add to my Purifiers and Interceptors leaving me with 1 Terminator Squad. What good is Objecting Secured going to do me?

I was assuming he was using the NSF. In which case he wouldn't have Objective Secured.

My point is, if i go with just 30 Purifiers, 5 Strikers and 5 Terminators (not my preference overall, but hey, it's objective secured and that MATTERS) I think my overall results wont change a ton. I'll get one unit thats kinda better than Purifiers (in a way) and one thats kinda worse than Purifiers (but cheaper also). So on balance it feels like at worst i am gaining a LITTLE flexibility and mobility that i would otherwise lack and the mobility is coming on objective secured chassis.
Now i am a General who likes to have a tool bag, and I am not a General who plays a lot of the "win button" lists. They diminish me. So this change doesnt feel like the end of the world really.
What I truly bemoan is that there was such a spike in points and Crowes lost ability, that it pushed some things completely out of the list, namely a pair of Dreadnoughts and essentially gave me nothing in return. My army simply IS smaller and IS more Psychically powerful. I got into Grey Knights when they were still using the DaemonHunters Codex, so i wasnt really into it for the Psyker stuff and I am not an enormous fan of PLAYING with a lot of Psyker stuff. so it has kind of diminished my interest in the army. I feel like IM forced into kind of relying on a phase of the game Im not enamoured with to play Grey Knights to their full potential.
Am I dumping them? nah. I still love the paint job i gave them (a lot) and they are one of the few armies I can show up to tournies with and get halfway decent paint scores. So As long as I win all my games, I actually have a chance at Best Overall when i use them. I just wont play as many casual games with them I guess?
