I got a PSP 3000 and I was wondering what good games there are for them. I like games with a good story and are challenging but not a pain to complete and not challenging as in puzzle challenging but challenging as in its just not a run around and break pots challenging. (Yes that was a Zelda reference)

1) You cannot win. 2) You cannot break even. 3) You cannot stop playing the game.

I was told that if I want to start the final fantasy series that I should start with the fourth one because before that the story doesn't do much

Final Fantasy 4 is good and is the point at which the Final Fantasy games started to develop more complex stories and characters. I'd forgotten about it but it is on PSP.
Crisis Core is the prequel to the original Final Fantasy VII game on the playstation. Though if you haven't played FF7 first then you should probably do that or Crisis Core will spoiler a pretty big part of the story.
Final Fantasy Tactics was originally on the playstation 1. Its battle system is different to the main series, requiring tactical movement as well as use of magic and skills.

Hmm sounds interesting so crisis core is essentially final fantasy VIII?

Alienoid wrote:Hmm sounds interesting so crisis core is essentially final fantasy VIII? Well, not really as the Final Fantasy games as a progressing numbers thing are not sequels/prequels. So seven was completely unrelated to six etc. Typically sequels are numbered the same as the original game but with a 2 added at the end. As an example Final Fantasy X had a sequel called Final Fantasy X-2. Crisis Core is, from a storyline point of view, to final fantasy seven what the star wars prequel trilogy is to the original star wars trilogy. Its own self contained story which ties into and alludes to the story of the original whilst being set before.
