Hello all,

New to the forums, so pardon my question if its been addressed or beaten like a horse already. So I see that a "6" always fails a characteristic test such as strength for hellfrost checks to be removed from the game. But My question is 1: are there any special rules in play that allow a model to bypass or ignore those "checks"? and 2, if say my strength is 10, I'm assuming that does not benefit me in any way, a 6 still simply fails me and I am removed from the board....is that correct? Thanks again, and much respect for all the help in the past, really great site here. ~ Mochiloch

1: There are some rules that work with specific types of checks or on certain characters.
2: Yes with a strength 10 you still fail on a 6. Having a 10 still benefits you in combat, saying it doesn't implies you are not going to use it in combat.

ADD causes my posts to ramble from time to time. Please bear with me.

By chance do you know what rules specifically allow you to bypass the tests? Or what perks?

None that i'm aware of. Things such as the helfrost cannon still have to wound, so giving your (I assume wraithknight here a good save will reduce the chances of it happening.

I've had my wraithknight sucked up by a monolith twice now. It sucks.
