Wraithlords a waste, strongly recommend dropping him for crimson hunter. I also recommend splitting jet bikes into 3 man squads.

I feel that if i where to get rid of the wraithlord for a crimson hunter then i would have good air defence but then the avatar wouldn't have a buddy.

At 1500 points one solitary serpent wont last long i wouldnt think

The avatar doesnt need a buddy

Wraithlord is most viable in your list, I wouldn't drop him. But yes, the lone Serpent seems out of place...have the impression you took it with the avengers because all (or the most frequent poster around here) do so.
