So i'm trying to put together a list for a small 500 point tourney coming up. Here is what I came up with. Comments and Criticism welcome.
-=HQ=-
Captain
-Bike, Storm Shield, Artificer Armor, Thunderhammer
-=Troops=-
5 Bikes
-2 grav guns,
5 Bikes
-2 grav guns
-=Fast=-
Attack Bike
-Multi Melta
This comes to exactly 500 points. I figure the captain can tank for the troops and is still pretty tough in melee, the grav gun bikers are versatile to take out a vehicle or some heavy infantry, and the MM attack bike can crack anything really heavy. Thoughts?

Don't forget, the Sergeant in each bike squad can grab a separate combi-weapon, so you have the possibility of 3 Grav-guns per squad, just in case they need to hit something big with EVERYTHING. I'm sure there's something you can trim to get 20pts for if you need it.

Thanks. I know they can and it's how I usually run them but I'm not sure what to cut. I guess I could drop the artificer armor but it seems worth it. Comin down from 1500-1750 is tough, and I'm already upset about losing my chapter master lol.

You could downgrade the thunderhammer, that'd free some points up. You'll be worrying more about a mass of bodies than a big gribbly at 500 points, so will want to strike at initiative to reduce the number of hits you take in return. Keep the artificer armour and go for a power sword instead.
That said, I'd be more tempted to give the sergeants a power weapon of their own over a single use combi-weapon.

I like it as is. 500 points are very tight, so you are going to have less then you want in a lot of places.
Dropping from a hammer to a fist will save 5, at the price of concussive. That would buy you an auspex or melta bomb. Might be worth it.
Switching one of the bike squads to melta guns would also free up some points. But how much heavy armor do you expect to see in 500 point lists? The attack bike plus the gravs should be enough. But depending on your local meta, it might be worth it.
