Let's say I have be'lakor and he casts shrouding on himself. If he has a unit 6" of him will the whole unit benefit from it or only the models within 6"? I am mentioning about a unit that let's say only 5 of 10 are wining 6".

What power are you using? The only power I can see that would make sense is invisibility, and that only affects one unit, and doesn't have a range....

Have a look at the Shrouded USR; it should help answer your question

Yes, and no power in telepathy is called shrouding. There is invisibility, which GRANTS shrouding, but does so to a unit, and has no area effect.

So if you can be more precise, or simply read the rule for shrouded anyway...

Are you trolling? New 7th ed powers, and reasonable question by OP.

Invisibility is you can only snap fire at the unit, and hit them with 6's in CC.

The 4th telepathy power "Shrouding" is a blessing that grants the USR "shrouded" to the caster and any friendly models within 6", however as the USR "shrouded" only requires a single model in the unit to have to it, like hit and run for example, the whole unit is granted the 'shrouded' USR, not just models within 6" of Be'lakor.

To be more precise, only the models that are within 6" gain the Shrouded rule, however, as long as those models are alive, the whole unit benefits from Shrouded.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Captain jay - no, and you're instead violating rule one

I was simply using the belakor data slate which, it appears, hasn't had the telepathy entry updated to 7th.

As above, only one model in the unit needs the rule

just a note. Bel'akor already has shrouding permanently and has no need to cast it on himself.

Do you mean he has Shrouded? That is different than Shrouding. By about 6"

I pruned out a whole slew of off-topic nonsense from this thread.

If you have an issue with the manner in which someone else posts, or feel that a post breaks the rules of the site, please just hit the mod alert button and let us deal with it, rather than de-railing the thread by getting snippy.

It seems that the question has been answered, so I am going to lock this down.
