Hello Guys,

Going Native’s first all model Kickstarter will launch soon (within the next couple of days). In order to keep the funding level low, I am just asking for the money I need to cover all the production costs for all the models that I have and create one new large model, the Piasa. The Stretch Goals, if we reach them, will cover many spirit beasts this size chart. I am hoping that we can at least reach one stretch goal.

Well, I'm not really interested in the history stuff but since you are looking for feedback... why not?

On the plus side:
I've seen the point system used before in KStarters and I really like it.
If I got this right, you've already sculpted almost all of the minis, which is good since it's not all concept artwork and people see what they will actually get.
Prices seem very reasonable.
Estimated delivery 3 to 4 motnhs? Yap, that's fast.

On the minus side:
No ruler. There have been examples lately where people say that scale is 28mm or 30mm e.t.c. but they are not. If I were you I'd put a picture with a ruler and/or a figure of a recognizable mini (for example a GW marine).
Pictures are too small, I don't know if when this goes live they will be re-sizable (if yes, ignore this comment), the PNW warriors especially are very hard to see the detail of.

Questions:
The point system is better for the backers but means more work for you. Have you considered that and do you have a pledge manager plan ready?

Thanks, you have raised some good points and I will address them.

Yes I have looked in to it, and I thought it would be the best way to manage this project with this many models and kits.

Also, a direct competitor is already using the name Warpath.

Consider changing the name to avoid confusion.

Besides, the name is too long already.

I like the concept and designs.

Bigger pictures with a ruler would be a plus- especially since a lot look completed as well as painted.

SHOW THOSE CRITTERS OFF!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I have already spoke to Mantic and they are cool with the title as long as the name is Going Native: Warpath and not just Warpath.

The Project is now live here is the link

How large do you expect the Piasa to be?

What will it be cast out of? Metal like all the others?

Metal, I can not believe I missed that.

The Piasa may be cast in resin, but it is too soon to tell right now.
