Hello all!

This is my first post outside the standard saying hello forum

I am continuing to work on my small Wood Elf force and recently finished my 2nd unit of Glade Guard. I hope they past muster!

My first hero for the Wood Elves has been finished, a Reaper sculpt instead of a Games Workshop one.

Now onto my second unit of Dryads and the GW Spellsinger!

Well I bought myself a Foldio lighting studio thingy and used it to photograph my new Dryads I painted up. It gives me a much better photo and made me really happy with the results.

Anyway here are my Dryads:

Very nice, you've captured the earthy and natural feel of the Wood Elves perfectly!

Nice smooth highlighting, and nice colour choices - well done!

Took a break from Elves this week to paint up a fun looking Reaper sculpt. I have tried to add more detail to the robe by painting the symbols on it. I am happy enough with how it turned out too. Just have to try something a bit more complex next time!

Those Dryads look awesome!

I can't say I'm excited about those reaper sculpts hough; while the paintjob is excellent, the facial details on the models (sculpts) leave a lot to be desired. Not your fault, just an observation.

I think you could do a really good Ancient Treefolk dude (forget the exact name).

I think Reaper is hit and miss, it really depends on who sculpts the models.

Thanks for the kind words those who have replied.
