After getting into X-wing and Star Trek Attack Wing, I was thinking this would be perfect for Star Blazers. So is there any Star Blazers miniatures being sold? If so, where? Also what scale would they be?

Damn, I miss my childhood favourite anime.

My cousin got me those books as a present. I love it. I know that is old, that is why I was asking if there is anything out now that I could try and get.

You can buy the model kits off of eBay. I picked up some destroyers recently and they are about three inches long.

Captain Killhammer McFighterson stared down at the surface of Earth from his high vantage point on the bridge of Starship Facemelter. Something ominous was looming on the surface. He could see a great shadow looming just underneath the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, slowly spreading northward. "That can't be good..." he muttered to himself while rubbing the super manly stubble on his chin with one hand. "But... on the other hand..." he looked at his shiny new bionic murder-arm. "This could be the perfect chance for that promotion." A perfect roundhouse kick slammed the ship's throttle into full gear. Soon orange jets of superheated plasma were visible from the space-windshield as Facemelter reentered the atmosphere at breakneck speed.

Look to Japanese sources for Starblazers stuff. As the series was a rebranding of Space Battleship Yamato, anything and everything you could possibly imagine - no matter how trivial - has probably been produced by one or more Japanese companies over the years.

I was just going to say, the line of minis for this game is still available. They are probably the smallest models of the Yamato/Star Blazers ships you can find, though, and the sculpts are starting to look their age. If you want to go through the effort, you can probably find somewhat larger alternatives among the huge number of different toy and model kit versions that have come out in Japan over the years.

Here you go, two bucks per ship, injection molded. I ordered a fleet of fifteen just the other day.

The $2 models scale well with BFG size ships. I have about 40 that I use with my Galactica for playing BFG.
