Hey all, i'm here to ask if anyone on these forums happens to live in the area of Derby in UK and could point me to any clubs or LGSs in the area? Over the years after uni came and went my old wargaming circle have either moved area, lost interest or fallen out of contact and I find myself looking to try and find fellows to wargame with once again! While there is always I suppose my local GW (though the one here is rather small if honest..), i've been looking to try other games beyond warhammer, particularly Firestorm Armada and the upcoming Planetfall from Spartan Games too since both look great aesthetically imo. However I have no idea where, if any, the LGSs are in this area anymore or any of the clubs and if they even play these games, so I find myself asking you all if anyone out there might be able to show me where to look! Thanks for reading and hope someone out there might be able to point me in right direction.

Well been a week now and no one at all? :( A little disheartening this! Had thought i'd find or hear from someone in my local area about wargaming or LGSs! Managed to find a few places via the miracle of Google but have yet to hear back from any... Anyone else in these forums then from the Midlands area of United Kingdom have any wargaming clubs, groups or FLGSs that wouldn't be a pain in the rear to check out for someone who lives in Derby..? xP Help a Wargamers plight peeps!

How old are you? There used to be one at Ripley library but just for kids. I'm just getting back in after a hiatus of a couple of years if you fancied a game in a few weeks/ months when I'm back up to speed let me know.

And thanks for replies, already looked into War and Peace, though it is somewhat out of the way, not heard of Sanctioned Chaos, tried googling them but could only get their facebook page for now, seems their website is down? DOesn't say either on their Facebook page where they are in Long Eaton.

I'm 27 so don't think library club for younger people is for me , have found a Derby Wargamers Society club that meets nearer to me but majority seem to be historical wargamers alas, so not for me. :(
