Hey all,

I'm a 40k player planning to get seriously into Fantasy once I've finished all the modeling and painting with my current 40k force. I was planning on going with Ogre Kingdoms but these new End Times models have me drooling. For those familiar with the new fluff, where do the Ogre Kingdoms stand in all this new Nagash stuff? It's not necessarily a dealbreaker for me if I can't incorporate any of it with an Ogre Kingdoms army, but it will definitely affect my decision.

Like, as far as fluff and where they came up in the story? They were barely in there. They came in towards the end of one battle top eat whatever was left, but it turned out to be a bit much for them.

Which, might sound like a bad thing, but means you can come up with your own reasons, and forge that narrative!

You can use the rules for up to 50% of your points can be spent on Lord and up to 50% on heroes. You can also take the lore of undeath on your spell casters. So if you wanted to add some of the gorgeous undead models you can and summon them using your slaughtermaster, etc.

Tactically it is probably not the best use of your pts but it is definitely doable.

With the new rules on lords and heroes points, we can finally try having Tyrant/SM lists. Or Double SM. Or... dare I say... double-Tyrant?

Story-wise, nothing yet on Ogres. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

It would be rather easy to mix VC and OK models now right? Fluff wise, can an Ogre become a vampire? A Vampire Tyrant led Ogre tribe with a knack for necromancy would be awesome.

Ogres will do what they always do..... walk over and eat who ever dead going to die or to slow to run..... now they comin down and from guys who regularly take out chimeras/monsters. Nagash will be put back in his grave.... after a few .....droppings from a ogres butt.
