At what scale are the Napoleonic models and what do you have troop wise, including are they multi-based, because I can think of a few rule sets off the top of my head

There are a ton of Napoleonic rules out there, but as far as something that is relatively accessible and would make for a relatively easy transition from 40k, I would say that Lasalle and Black Powder would both be good options (at least if you're looking for a tactical-level ruleset).

Well if you are looking at squad based antics try Sharpes Practice, this requires individual models though, an alternative to that, if you are looking to stretch your imagination is Muskets and Tomahawks which is amazing. Its set from the 7 years war up to Napoleonics in America. Another system I've heard about is Tremble Ye Tyrants and for a while Victrix had a rule set called March of Eagles.

Then there is my own system that is exactly what you asked for but is not at the level of public play testing.

Well you're in luck: Most rulesets are more simple than 40K.

I second Hordini's suggestion of Black Powder, a nice simple set with some tactical depth, and a couple of Napoleonic supplements. You might want to houserule some of the movement rates downwards if you don't have a 6x12' table, though...

The club I go to is putting on a Waterloo bicentenary game next year, using the new edition of Napoleon's Battles, if it ever appears. The amount and size of tables in the older editions give me the sweats, tho.

I'm sooo, sooo sorry.
