Multi lasers all the way due to their higher strength.

1/5 times you will want the heavy bolter because you will be firing at a T3 thing with a 4+ save.
In every other scenario, you want the multilaser.

Against Tau, Eldar, Crons or Guard, take the Heavy Bolter. Against the rest, MultiLaser

It's a shame it's not an inquisition chimera or the obvious answer is heavy bolter with psybolt ammo.

Multi-laser all the time.

Best overall damage. Anything the HB ignores the save on will have a cover save, in which case the higher strength of the multi-laser would have been better.

Plus it actually has a decent shot at taking on vehicles.
