Couple more quick questions regarding transports and a few of the maelstrom mission cards and warlord traits. They basically come down to whether or not units in a vehicle count as a unit on the table or not.

For the maelstrom card specifying having 3 units within 12" of your table edge, do a transport and the unit that's inside it both count so you only need one more unit to fulfill the requirement?

For the warlord trait allowing you to get an extra point for controlling an objective, can you do so from within the vehicle or is the unit inside not able to count as controlling the objective. (I can only find where it specifies being in a building and the unit inside counting as controlling within 3" of the building itself)

Units inside transports are not on the table so have no way of measuring range to them to determine if they are within 12" of the table edge or 3" of an objective to control it.

Page 80, from memory - under embarked units. You just measure to th hull, so the unit ipembarked is within 12" if the hull of the vehicle is.

Controlling an objective tells you what doesn't count for controlling. Being embarked is not on that list, and you CAN, as above, measure to the unit.
