Got fed up with using 2p coins as objectives and noticed I had 6 bases on my bits box from Stormclaw.

I have given three to my brother and regular tau opponent who is going to make 3 Tau themed ones

These are mine.

First a simple unexploded missile



Next up a Marine vehicle commander who has been shot down behind enemy lines, lost his entire lower body and had a hand severed. Needs to be recovered before he can be captured by the filthy aliens. I'm planning on plenty of blood for the blood god effect paint on this!!



Finally a sensor outpost abandoned by cowardly PDF as soon as they saw the sky light up with enemy ships.





First ever time using green stuff, the guts of the marine are a bit rubbish but once they are layered In blood I'm sure it will look good!

The sandbag wall I'm pretty happy with as well.

Ok All in all Not A bad idea and well executed. You gonna trimm the mold Lines right?
What i dont get... Why capture a misplaced rocket?

It all needs a clean up, nothing is glued down yet just placed.

I suppose it could be carrying life eater and needs to be defused!

Nice work so far! I second the notion of trimming the mold lines. Especially when you are doing special projects that will attract attention.

And I know it looks awesome to use a wounded marine as an objective marker, and rightly so, but do you really think even a Space Marine would be able to keep shooting after having taken so much damage? Bleeding to death aside, don't they have some membrane that basically puts them in a coma once injured to the point of being near death? Just nit picking :p

He is certainly a fluff marine as opposed to a game marine!

I'm off down the model store shortly to pick up some blood for the blood god paint then I'll spend the evening sanding mold lines and base coating them I think.
