Ok so after a while I have finally maybe have gotten a friend into DW and I was wondering but I have not played since the old rules so I was wondering what had changed?

Also with my frined wanting to start Naval CoA I already own small force of KoB but was wondering if my friend gets the Naval Battle group would my forcve be balaenced enough to go against it? or will I need tro buy a new naval battle group to start up with my friend.

The following I own follows:

The old KoB Naval battle Group

The dreadnought ship

The anti-aircraft friggates

I have lost the tiny flyers and the stands for the flyers you got in the old KoB naval group..

So would my force be balanced to go up against my friend or not?

KoB have changed a bit and are now better-matched against the other fleets - similarly CoA have been toned-down a bit.

Most important changes off the top of my head:

You can no longer Split Fire;

Linked Fire has been simplified;

Tiny Fliers have completely changed and are a lot more flexible.

What you've got sounds decent enough although the lack of KoB tiny fliers might hurt you a bit!

Fair do's, was planning on stocking up on more tiny flyers

I've played a few games with my older PE models against newer stuff from the Russians and French, and had a pretty balanced time of it. While that doesn't help your specific case, it does show that the older models are still a match for the newer stuff, so I'd say your fine! How many points do you and your friend plan on playing at?
