Anybody got any good painting schemes for slate tile roofs ?

Any help would be great, thanks

I'd start with a black primer. Black paint and just a bit of stone grey, then work your way up adding stone grey as you like till you get the desired effect.

I should add that this would be a drybrush effect.

I`m thinking similar but after the black a blue coat ?

Depends on the grey you are using. The VMC stone grey has a slight blue tint. If your using something else it couldn't hurt to try it.

Not sure why you would want to paint your tiles but you would definetly want to use some all weather paint, something like (http://www.vubasupplies.co.uk/roof-tile-paint.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwnNqgBRDdgOitrZPj6yYSJACM86tDCm_TRO21pgTUSsHUWa2mJimlu6SCyjOJIFZeWQ6KchoCc-Dw_wcB)

Make sure it's not a rainy day when you paint it.
