Hi everyone, just bought the militarum tempestus box set with the vehicles and 25 scions. Im wondering..... how should i equip my squads and tauroxes??? Im thinking about magnetiixing but if i cant what should i do to allow me to be affective against mainly tyranids and space/chaos marines???

any help is greatly appreciated

I'm not sure exactly what they can take, but try put on as much AP3 as possible, you are facing two armies composed almost entirely of 3+ saves

In all fairness, militarum tempest is not the best army on it's own. They're fine as allies to IG. But as it is, they're too expensive while being fragile. And both taurox transports are not close to the top of the heap. They're good in vendettas, though.

Militarum Tempestus are pretty good againgst marines though.

You will need to take a decent amount of melta to handle any vehicles.

The standard ap3 lazgun is fairly decent at taking out marines by itself though. Keep the force cheap and spam as many bodies as you can and you should do fine.

So I should run mainly plasma and melta weapons for all my special weapon choices? Im going for a smaller 1000 points of around that army just pure fluffy tempestus! I also have a callidus and vindicare assassin that I want to include and was thinking about maybe trying one of the formations that they are given in the back of the book. Also thinking about adding some bullgryns perhaps.

Any ideas to this???
