How many hull.points does a weapon battery have. Stronghold assault says that it is an impassable building, but doesn't say what size. Just wondering.

Stronghold assault came out before buildings had hull points. Stronghold assault does reference each VWB as a Medium Building though in which case you'll have to look in the BRB for how many HPs for a medium building.

EDIT: After double checking Stronghold Assault, I'm seeing that it DOESN'T state the size of the buildings. I could have sworn that it did. I'll have to check the in-box rule pamphlet when I get home.

Building Size and hull points will probably only be of import if it is a building you can embark in.
If you must know a size, why not simply decide with your opponent according to other similarly sized buildings?

Well I was just curious. It would come up if/when your opponent shoots at them. As they are impassable, no units can embark on them, so that's a moot point. Thanks for the insight fellas.

Officially it doesn't have HP, as it's size isn't listed.

Unofficially i'd call it a small building and give it 2 HP.

I would agree with Ascalam that they probably will be deemed Small Buildings which would be 3HPs per the rulebook. Still impassible, but just a small impassible building.

Then again, each one is large enough to hide a DE venom behind them and, by comparison, the Imperial Bunker is classified as a Medium Building. So, ultimately, discuss it with your opponent before the match and run with whatever is agreed upon.

This has came up on here meany times everyone is correct there is no way to determine hull points based on the 2 books. However the way I have ruled on it for local GTs is it has 3 hull points but is not considered a small building and cannot take any building upgrades.

RAW, there is no answer. RAI, It is definitely a small building. 3HP's. The void shield generator is more confusing.

I find it utterly fascinating that they didn't bother to read the stronghold rules when writing the 7th edition rule book, and have not FAQ'd. I guess a mis-named piece of terrain is more important than a building that is RAW unplayable.

Don't forget that the FAQ for Stronghold Assault pretty much says "for building rules see the BRB".

I miss the days when FAQs actually existed and came out for our toys.
