Great game! Though, i think you shouldn't discard lobbas. They just didn't have juicy targets due to eldar having only serpents and high toughness models. Even dispite that, you managed to put a couple of wounds on a wraithlord with them.

First off thank you very much for sharing your battle report it was enjoyable. Second I would also agree on not dismissing the Lobbas. You really didn't have very good targets to shoot them at but in other games you will. I'm surprised your opponent pushed forward as he clearly had the range to destroy your Trukks and make you walk across the board while constantly being shot at. I'm not 100% sure but does the Killkannon upgrade remove the open top of the vehicle? If it does then I think you wouldn't have been able to shoot as many Burnaz as you did. Also it looked like the Burnaz killed Wraithguard that were out of range from the flamer template. You're only able to kill models that you are in a range of. It didn't make a difference in the outcome but it was just something I noticed.

Regarding Flamer Range - That's the only reason one of the wraith lord's lived. Out of range. The last one was killed by something else I think.

Regarding the Wagon - I'll have to look, but it was actually a "Kannon" upgrade, not Kill Kannon, but I'll check anyway.

Regarding May have ended the game too early. I'll look back at it.

Regarding Lobbas - I might just be deploying them poorly and it could be my meta. I generally play Necrons, Imperial Knights, Grey Knights, Militarum Tempestus, Eldar and Tyranids. It seems they'd be better if one of 2 things was different. Better range or better strength. You basically have to deploy them out of cover, in the middle of the board, at your front line. If you don't, you have no targets because of the range. Then you have to move. If you move you can't shoot. Redeploying therefore (IMO) is ineffective. Lootas can snapshoot. For 90pts (5 lobbas and 2 runts) ish, we can get 6 lootas. 48" D3 S7 shots that can hit fliers, tanks, monsterous creatures, and infantry. Can move and shoot?! Yes please. How do you guys use lobbas? Was it bad deployment or just target poor battle. Seems like all my battles are "target poor" with a 36" range.

Thanks for watching. Sorry about missing those turns. The second report (Necrons v Orks) was better, but I messed up the volume in the software so you need to max out your PC volume. Hope you guys watch that one too! http://youtu.be/kVXM6pINL5Y

My best!

From the angle I saw it looked like the flamer template wouldn't have been able to reach most of the squad but I guess I am wrong. Also Lobbas are 48" range I really hope you weren't playing them as 36"?

Hahahah. Yes I was playing as 36"!!!! Dag nabbit!

I looked up Kill Kannon just now too.

The Kill Kannon changes the transport capacity to 12 from 20. It does not affect its open topped status.

Lol no worries just give them another shot. I'm sure they will do well for you. Now that I think about I think it's the Boom Gun that changes the transport type. I'll keep an eye out for another one of your batreps to see how they do for you.
