Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Too many grenade launchers, too many heavy weapon squads.
Ditch the grenade launchers, put the missile launchers into your infantry squads, ditch the Punisher.
Use some of the spare points to upgrade your infantry squads to Veteran squads and use the PCS as a CCS for better Orders.

This would probably fit better in the army lists forum, anyways:
Too many toys, not enough boys! Firing Ordnance with the Demolishers forces the other weapons to snap-fire, and you can't snap-fire blasts, so the plasma sponsons are useless and the Lascannon overly-expensive. Drop the sponsons and downgrade the las to heavy bolters.
You've taken multiple plasma pistols in squads capable to taking specials but you haven't taken specials - swap the pistols for plasma guns (same cost, 2-3 times the shots). Power swords are also a bit of a waste at S3, but YMMV.
Grenade launchers and missile launchers are versatile but underwhelming, I'd certainly swap the GL's for something else - if you are blobbing the infantry together (which will mean more can be buffed by a single order), I think you can save by dropping some of the voxes but I'm not sure on the wording of the rule.
If you've saved enough points from all that, you can add in one of your spare Russes without having to drop a tank.

Yeah, a single vox in a blob squad is sufficient, but I think the BS4 with two Orders a turn from a CCS is probably better because the ork walkers won't be conveniently squadroned to let you shoot them all with the same squad!

Take a Vanquisher for your tank commander. Fill out the rest of the commander's retinue with your basic LRMBT and pick on the big boys. Like others said, ditch the grenade launchers, since your opponent isn't bringing a horde to justify those templates. Bring in some actual plasma guns and use that blob squad as a good screen for the tanks. Realistically, your opponent should not have much in the way of heavy AV on the field after a turn or two.

This horror, this abomination, has thought and purpose that functions on an unimaginable, galactic scale and all we can do is try to stop the swarms of bioengineered monsters it unleashes upon us by instinct. We have given the horror a name to salve our fears; we call it the Tyranid race, but if is aware of us at all it must know us only as Prey."

I don't have any plasma guns for my infantry squads, because I purchased them before Plasma guns were on the sprues.

Are you really playing WYSIWYG? Anyway, you can order a bit pack with 5 plasma guns for 6 GBP from the GW mail order. http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Space-Marine-Plasma-Guns

It is partially a list problem and I would imagine a basic strategy problem that is indicated by your list.
You have way to many toys and too few boots on the ground.
Your list is actually not a battleforged army and has errors in it. The infantry platoon counts as 1 troop choice so you only have 1. The heavy support demolisher "In Commander's Squadron" is not a heavy support choice as the tanks joined with the commander are part of his HQ slot.
To start with I would strip all the extra weapons off of those demolishers or change the main gun to executioners.
Why do you have a vox caster on each infantry squad? Are you combining them or keeping them separate? You should try to get a priest and more infantry to act as a screen for your tanks.
This leads into the fundamental strategic mistake indicated by your list. You lack the screening infantry vital to support your leman russ'. Just by moving the tanks with a screen of infantry jumping in front to get charged would make a huge difference as it buys you a turn or two extra of shooting the opponent. If you give your sarges melta bombs they can usually even kill the walkers.

Same for your pal: so he runs 3 units of 1 killakan each, right?
-So I see 1 troop and 6 heavy in his list, definitely not battle forged.
-Battle wagon has 4 slots for small weapons so he can't have 3 rokkit AND 4 big shootas on it at same time.
- Deffdredds have 4 arms each , one of then is missing an arm? (or maybe you just forgot to write down what it is)
Walkers move 6" charge 12", so actually up until 18" ( or even 16" if you are in terrain) you are quite safe from charging walkers. They should not reach you before turn 3 or even 4 if you re close to your table edge.
You should focus on the battle wagon and the stormboyz cause they more likely to reach you first.
