Hey guys, I'm hoping for a bit of advice.

I thinking of buying some Wargames Foundry Renaissance Mercenary Pikemen (Landsknechts) to use in an Empire Warhammer Fantasy army.

They don't seem to come with pikes so I was wondering if anyone could recommend some that they think would be suitable

Also, if anyone has any of the figures and has any advice I'd greatly appreciate it too.

Thanks.

Personally, I would go for these;

They will fit better size wise than Foundry... also check the Artizan Design ones too. Both ranges better scaled to GW.

For pikes, Nic at Northstar Figures stocks brass ones with steel tips.

Yup.

They have a seperate web page but Northstar are the producers.

All the same shopping cart.

No no no don't use metal pikes... you'll kill yourself, trust me.

The best thing to do is get a broom with plastic bristles and cut them to 100mm in length.

They are sturdy enough to look like straight pikes but you won't impale yourself when you inevitably put your arm or palm on a unit of pikemen.
